A seasoned educationist with over three decades of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Trehan has been instrumental in shaping Montessori-led formative learning in the region since 1983. Her vision laid the foundation for Firstep’s progressive and child-centred approach.

Mrs. Lalita Trehan
Founding Member & International Montessorian
A renowned Montessorian and teacher trainer, Mrs. Trehan is the Founder Director of Sugar Creek Montessori (USA). She has served as Trustee at the Texas Centre for Educational Research (T.C.E.R.) and as a member of the Academic Advisory Council (AAC), Fort Bend Independent School District, Texas. Her global perspective enriches Firstep’s academic depth.

The leadership includes alumni of prestigious institutions such as Mayo College (Ajmer), Modern Montessori International (London), Nanyang Business School (Singapore), and National Law School (Bangalore). Our academic team comprises trained Montessori Directresses and qualified educators with international curriculum exposure, ensuring authentic implementation and consistent pedagogical excellence.
